I live in a very mystical place in Northern Ireland – Slieve Gullion. It is a dormant volcano and at its very top history states a witch guards a sacred lake, that if you jump into will turn your hair grey and age you. I live with my wife and two children. We enjoy outdoor activities, like exploring, trekking, picnics and all things that require exercise. I am a good runner and compete in 10Km and half marathon events. I enjoy the gym and keeping fit. I enjoy being with my friends and experiencing new things.

Clinical Scientist of Cardiac Physiology and heart rhythm management
I specialise in diagnosing heart problems. I use very sophisticated equipment to look inside your chest to see if your heart is beating correctly. I can monitor your heartbeat and decide if you need treatment or not and I can do this using my iphone and ipad.
I teach in a university in Belfast Northern Ireland where future heart scientists train to work in hospitals, maybe you would like to become one of us?
I research ways to better teach and practice diagnosing heart rhythm problems for patients in hospital.

We all get up very early in my house. My children go to childcare and my wife and I work. We all have breakfast together before starting our day. I travel to Belfast by car and teach students at Ulster University Belfast. My job is to prepare students to become healthcare scientists of cardiac physiology so I teach them and provide exciting practical work so they are ready to work in hospitals helping sick people.
