  I have been a professional scientist for about 8 years where I have been paid to be a scientist.
  
  However I have been doing science experiments since I was 5! One of the earliest experiments I remember was seeing what happens to plants with various conditions. (One with light and water, one with just light, one in the dark with water and another in the dark and without water!)

  Oh, lots. I started my degree when i was 18: so 13 years overall (you can work out how very old that makes me…)
