      There could be yes!
      Some places in Africa are much higher from sea level than here in the UK – and the higher the altitude you reach, the lower amount of oxygen that is available.

      So for the people living in higher altitudes they would need to be able to breathe in more air to get the same amount of oxygen as us.

      Athletes also train in high altitudes so they can train their lungs to take in more oxygen so that they do not get a tired so quickly – Mo Farah the marathon runner for example trains this way.
