I became a paid scientist at 20 (between my 2nd and 3rd year of university) where I tested hair samples for illegal drugs. Once I completed my degree I then continued and did research.

Have a look at my profile, I explain my interest in clinical science was after my cousin had an accident when we were small and needed medical assistance. I was unable to help her and it drove me to pursue this occupation.

I wanted to be a zoologist or palaeontologist when I was very little. This stuck with me while I grew up.
